Lemon Ginger Immune Boosting Syrup

This is an immune-boosting home remedy. It is versatile and can be customized to your liking. Adding sliced garlic and/or turmeric will enhance its immune-boosting qualities. Take this elixir to help prevent colds or to soothe a sore throat.

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 Organic Lemons

  • 1 inch Organic Ginger

  • Raw honey (I use Manuka when possible)

    Directions-

    -Thinly slice lemons and peeled ginger. -Layer the lemons and ginger in the jar lightly packing them down as you go

    -Once the jar is full add the honey to cover the lemon and ginger.

    -Seal the jar with a lid and place in fridge.

    -This is ready to use. The longer you let it infuse the more immune boosting properties increase.

    -Add to your favorite tea or take 1 teaspoon a few times a day as a medicinal elixir.

    -You can also add garlic cloves and/or sliced turmeric (pictured)
